MORE GREAT IMAGES FROM THANET’S CAMERA CLUB

The latest club competition featuring digital projected images attracted over 60 entries from members of the intermediate and advanced groups.

Two members who scored highly in their respective groups were Douglas Samme (intermediate) and David Silk (advanced).

Douglas’s image Colours of the Night highlighted what the moon looked like to his camera, with amazing colours not visible to the naked eye.

By contrast David captured a very apt and humorous scene at a photo booth and called it 42% Faster.

Looking ahead, on 20 February internationally renowned photographer Will Cheung FRPS is our guest speaker on the topic of Black and White Photography.

Non-members are welcome to join us for this special evening and entrance is just £4 per person.

Our club is open to all, whether new to photography or more advanced.

There is something to inspire everyone to become a better photographer – and we have groups dedicated to nature, street and analogue photography.

Competitions are open to all members but are completely optional.

To find out more why not come to one of our meetings.

Meetings are on Thursdays, 7.30pm, the Portland Centre, St Peter’s, Broadstairs, CT10 2TR
